The Staging (2026) mixed media – commissioned by First Capital Realty in the Breezeway at Humbertown Shopping Centre. It depicts the annual spawning migration of Chinook salmon. Before tackling each challenge on their journey upstream, the fish gather at river mouths and below waterfalls, collecting strength before making the next leap forward. I first witnessed this remarkable phenomenon along the Humber River by the Old Mill and was struck by the determination of these fish and the wonder that this natural cycle continues to unfold within our busy city year after year.Centre.
